Paris 2024 has set high ambitions for organizing the Paralympic Games, the first summer edition to be organized in France. For the first time in the history of the Games, Paris 2024 will feature a single emblem, reflecting the desire to bring the Paralympic Games and the Olympic Games to the same level.
Paris 2024 shows the achievements of para athletes in a unique and spectacular way, organizing the games in some of the most iconic venues in Paris and its region, including wheelchair fences in the Grand Palais, blind football in front of the Eiffel Tower and Para Equestrian in the Palace of Versailles. The partnership with Channel 4 will reinforce Paris 2024’s commitment to promoting the Paralympic Games around the world.
World-class marketing and presentation and production talent for the disabled will be key to successfully profiling and broadcasting Paris 2024, and Channel 4 seeks to maintain its valued position as the world leader in inclusion and accessibility. Sustainability will be the focus of its coverage, and the station wants to build on innovations in broadcasting that it has planned for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, due to take place next year.
