Carroll County’s Board of Education will have its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the Board of Education office at 125 North Court Street, Westminster. Due to social distancing guidelines, some attendees will attend virtually and the public will not be able to attend the meeting except for those who choose to speak during the civic engagement.

Citizen participation is scheduled for 5.15 p.m. and again at 6.30 p.m. Speakers have three minutes to address the board. Citizens who wish to speak must adhere to the guidelines below. The staff is available to speak and signs will be put up.

  • Always wear a mask, even when speaking to the board from the podium.
  • Enter the building through the main entrance.
  • Log in to the reception in the lobby.
  • Wait in the lobby for your name to be revealed. To accommodate social distancing, citizens can be asked to wait outside.

The Board of Education continues to take public comments through the CCPS website (click the Board of Education tab and Members) or US mail. People wishing to post their comments on the website’s Public Comments page should include this at the top of their email. Comments must be received by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the board meeting to be posted prior to the meeting.

The meeting can be accessed by clicking the link under News and Notices on the home page. The meeting will also be broadcast live on CETV channel 21.
