A disability discrimination lawsuit by a laid-off employee of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center was falsely dismissed on the grounds that the center retained sovereign immunity from a lawsuit because the plaintiff was not eligible under the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, a Texas appeals court ruled.
