OSF Saint Anthony Chief Medical Officer Among 2021 People You Should Know

ROCKFORD – Stephen Bartlett, Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center, was recently named one of the people you should know in 2021 by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.

People you should know are admired for their work, drive, dedication, and dedication. These are business people who work hard every day in the Rockford community. Bartlett joined OSF HealthCare in 2019 and still provides patient care as a surgeon in addition to his administrative duties.

People You Should Know started in 2011 and has honored 145 executives since then, including this year’s course. This year’s class is composed of men and women from a variety of industries including healthcare, government, nonprofits, finance, education, and professional services.

ROCKFORD – Realtor Weichert, Realtors – Tovar Properties recently added real estate partner Angel Rivera to its team.

Rivera is a member of the Rock-Green Realtors Association of Wisconsin and is fluent in English and Spanish.

United Way appoints President, CEO

ROCKFORD – United Way of Rock River Valley announced that its board of directors has hired Julie Bosma as President and CEO.

Bosma succeeds Paul Logli, who will retire on June 30th after 13 years as head of the organization.

Most recently, Bosma was Executive Director of RAMP Inc. During her tenure, Bosma increased annual sales from $ 300,000 to $ 2 million, created a $ 1 million foundation during the 2008 recession, launched employment programs that benefit hundreds of youth and adults Assisted in their employment goals and developed disability awareness curricula for students K-12. While at the helm, RAMP has been credited as one of the first centers in the state to advocate and receive funding for the annual reintegration of people with disabilities into their home communities, resulting in savings of millions Dollar led the state.

Known in the community, Bosma was named one of the 20 People You Should Know and Manager of the Year by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce. While at RAMP, the organization received the Rockford Register Star Excelsior Award.

Bosma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication / Public Relations from Valparaiso University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Bosma will take on the role of President and CEO on June 28th.

AMVETS Department of Illinois elects local commanders

ROCHELLE – Jean Henning from Rochelle has been elected Commander of the AMVETS Department of Illinois.

Henning is an army veteran. She is the third woman to be elected commandant of the Illinois AMVETS.

Henning has been part of the AMVETS organization since 1999. She is a lifelong member of Post 922 from Rockford. Previously, from 2019 to 21, she served two terms as 1st deputy commanding officer, 2nd deputy commanding officer for the department and District 2 as an officer. At Post 922 she served as adjutant and commandant.

Henning is the daughter and granddaughter of veterans, and her husband is a Desert Storm veteran.

In the coming year, Henning will travel across the state to encourage veterans to join AMVETS and advance his mission, “Veterans Help Veterans”.

ROSCOE – All World Machinery Supply Inc., a subsidiary of Daikin Industries LTD., Announced the acquisition of Titan Machinery Sales.

Titan is an authorized distributor of Okamoto machines, products and services with headquarters on Lake Zurich and locations in Florida and North Carolina. The purchase will better serve the growing needs of All World Machinery Supply’s North American customers.
