Janieasha Freelove-Sewell named certainly one of 25 “Up and Coming Attorneys” by Michigan Attorneys Weekly

SOUTHFIELD, me., May 3, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Law firm Mike Morse is proud to announce that Michigan Lawyers Weekly has named Janieasha Freelove-Sewell to their 2021 class of Up & Coming Lawyers. This class of only 25 consists of Michigan Lawyers who have made a name for themselves in the first 10 years of their work by showing ambition, drive and performance that set them apart from their competitors.

Janieasha earned her doctorate in law from Michigan State University College of Law in 2017 and her BA in English and Spanish from Georgetown University In 2008, she joined the Mike Morse law firm as a personal injury attorney. She vigorously represents customers who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents, beatings and runs, and dog bite incidents. She advises customers on their car insurance services and their rights through no fault of their own.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Janieasha was a teacher with the national organization Teach for America, teaching students from pre-K to adults for over a decade. As an attorney, she continues to mentor and teach students, and volunteer at college events and career day at schools across Metro Detroit. Janieasha is passionate about helping clients at court hearings by telling the story of how their lives have been affected as a result of their injuries.

Outside of her work, Janieasha is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan, an active alumni of Michigan State University College of Law and a member of their local Georgetown University Alumni group called the Georgetown Club of Detroit.
