NDDOT Hiring Range: $ 30.00- $ 35.00 per hour The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Summary of Work • Hold fair and timely administrative hearings that will ensure due process to all petitioners. • Review each new hearing file, schedule hearings, and prepare hearing notifications. • Checking and ensuring the correctness of the hearing records of testimony and procedures for confirming the administrative hearing at the district court for contested decisions. • Answer questions and educate the public, law enforcement, attorneys, and other NDDOT staff about matters that are under the department’s jurisdiction. • Providing information and training to law enforcement officers on the implicit consent hearing process. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Juris doctorate and a license to practice law in North Dakota or pending admission to practice law in North Dakota.
