Letter: Adjustments coming for Disabled Veterans who’ve license plates and ADA placards | Opinion

As of September 1st, all veterans with disabled veteran license plates in Texas must hang up the ADA sign in order to park in an ADA parking lot. Beginning December 1, the Department of Motor Vehicles requires each recipient to have their civil or VA doctor sign the ADA poster application, Form VTR-214. DMV no longer issues the poster automatically.

I hope this information will be shared with all disabled veterans in Texas to prevent them from receiving a police subpoena.
