The new pedestrian bridge connecting the Middletown Township neighborhoods of Snowball Gate and Forsythia Gate in Levittown is in place.
On Thursday, Middletown Township Public Works Department staff installed the new bridge that crosses Mill Creek. The bridge was placed on the foundations with a large crane.
According to the city administration, the bridge should be completed in summer.

The previous bridge over the creek was closed in 2020 after being classified as “structural failure”.
Middletown Township spent $ 48,039 with Contech Engineered Solutions on the new bridge.
Middletown Township Building and Zoning director Pat Ennis said last year that the new bridge is wider than the previous span and complies with the accessibility requirements of the American Disabilities Act (ADA).
