According to a press release from the city of Roseburg, the 6.85 hectare park is located in the northeast of Roseburg on Beulah Street between Lincoln Street and Nash Street.
About 20 employees from the public works department worked on various stages of the renovation. It started in late February and cost about $ 260,000. Staff were led by engineering technician Rick Castle, park and recreation program manager Kris Ammerman, design / construction manager Ryan Herinckx, and public works manager Brice Perkins.
The renovated neighborhood park features a new Disabled Access Playground with updated equipment, a newly paved basketball court, new ADA-accessible walkways, upgraded facilities, and fresh landscaping.
New landscaping, benches, two modern picnic tables and a newly sown area for natural grass are also part of the project. A multifunctional water fountain is added.
The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 9:00 am
