ADA Day (June 26) is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which helped ensure civil rights for people with disabilities and work to end discrimination based on physical or mental disabilities. To celebrate, we’ve highlighted accessible nature trails, forests, and parks in the United States to inspire you to explore the great outdoors, but this is not an exhaustive list. For more information, visit the NPS.gov website, which should have personalized accessibility information on each park page.
