HERNDON, Va .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Deque Systems, the trusted leader in digital accessibility, has just completed a hugely successful ax-con opening conference held online on March 10th and 11th. With a global audience and over 17,000 registered people, ax-con was the largest gathering of accessibility professionals ever. Deque will continue the conference in 2022.

The 17,000+ professionals who signed up for the free event can view the recordings of each session for the next six months on the ax-con website. Every time a person with a disability is supported in some way, you can actually make a positive impact on another six billion people. To the extent that we help a disabled person interact with the rest of the world’s population, we truly benefit everyone. ”

Well-known disability rights attorney, haben Girma, shared her perspective on the state of digital accessibility and commented on her personal experience: “People often ask me what was the hardest part about Harvard Law School? The hardest part was skill awareness. ”
