Incapacity Rights Group Sues Connecticut Over COVID-19 Vaccine Precedence

A Connecticut statewide advocacy group filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health with the U.S. Department of Health to try to make changes to that.

Deborah Dorfman, attorney and chief executive officer of Disability Rights Connecticut, said, “It can be very dangerous if, for example, a person with disabilities needs surgery or medical or dental surgery who would not be safe because of illness without the vaccine. This medical procedure may need to be interrupted and I have seen cases where it has happened. “
