The Athena Foundation, established in 2006, has distributed digital toolboxes to 28,000 teachers and kindergarten teachers in 172 municipalities across the country who together teach around 650,000 students. This number includes over 9,000 special educators who teach about 72,000 students.

The advanced technology makes it possible to improve the quality of teaching and learning. In the field of special education, these tools also serve to improve communication with students.

“During the Corona epidemic, the Athena Foundation continued its activities and distributed digital toolboxes to other teachers. The Foundation’s activities have made a significant contribution to enabling distance learning and the continuation of the school year despite the severe restrictions imposed by the epidemic, ”said Ben-Ari. .
