The Disability Law Center (DLC) has two positions to fill for a full-time personnel attorney. DLC is the federally authorized protection and advocacy agency for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The core mission of DLC is to provide disability legal assistance that promotes the fundamental rights of all people with disabilities to participate fully and on an equal footing in the social and economic life of Massachusetts. CLAVC Personnel Attorney:
This position is part of a nationwide initiative called Civil Legal Aid for Victims of Crime (CLAVC) aimed at those who have been victims of abuse, other domestic violence, or criminal behavior. The service area for the job is nationwide. The successful applicant will provide legal services and individual engagement on behalf of survivors of disability crimes. In addition, the successful applicant shares responsibility with other legal and legal professionals for providing technical support, advice, contacting and training to clients, family members and attorneys.
MLAC Personnel Attorney:
The successful applicant will provide legal services and individually advocate for low-income people with disabilities. In addition, the successful applicant shares responsibility with other legal and legal professionals for providing technical support, advice, contacting and training to clients, family members and attorneys. The service area for the job is nationwide.
