Zimbabwe: President Mnangagwa to Launch the Nationwide Labour Migration – Incapacity Insurance policies

President Mnangagwa is expected to present the National Labor Migration Policy and the National Disability Policy together at a ceremony this morning at the Harare International Conference Center.

Representatives of workers’ and disabled people’s organizations, government officials and representatives of UN organizations are expected.

The two policies are expected to improve the safe and legal movement of workers and the promotion of the rights of people with disabilities, as enshrined in the Constitution and international conventions to which the country has signed.

The introduction of the policy is in line with the government’s goals to involve all sectors of society in the development of the county in order to achieve the goals set in Vision 2030.
